Your First Visit
We’re sure you’ll love us from your very first visit! After you’ve scheduled an appointment, we’ll send you a welcome e-mail that includes your patient forms. This way, you can fill them out before you come to see us and save some precious time. In our office, you’ll be greeted by a friendly member of our team, and they’ll help you quickly organize your forms. From there, they’ll bring you into a treatment room and you’ll get to meet Dr. John Krell . They’ll take a few moments to get to know you a little better, and then one of our hygienists/assistants will take a variety of diagnostic scans and X-rays. After this, they’ll perform a thorough dental cleaning.
Once that is completed, your doctor will return, perform an oral exam, and then formulate your personalized treatment plan. You’ll then be escorted to the front desk where you’ll receive your New Patient Gift Bag, which will be filled with items like a coffee mug, pens, a flashlight, chapstick, and many other little goodies you can take home. It’s just a little way we like to say “welcome to our practice.”
During this appointment, you can also join our Free Bleach for Life program, in which you’ll get a free teeth whitening treatment whenever you come to see us. Be sure to ask us about it at your first appointment! We can’t wait to meet you!

After you have scheduled your first appointment, we will send you your patient forms attached to a welcome e-mail. You simply need to print them, fill them out, and bring them to your next appointment to shorten your already brief waiting time. Our patient portal will give you secure web access 24/7 to your account here at John Krell, D.D.S.! This includes online requests for appointments, all of your treatment history, your account and insurance balances, online payment options, and much more. We enjoy being able to make your ongoing dental care here in Houston as convenient as possible.

We understand that the affordability of your dental care is extremely important, and this is why we will make it as easy as possible for you to pay for it.
